Cabana Santosha संतोष means "contentment”

• Private Cabana sleeps 2 people and is a little bit larger than our other cabana because of the size of the bathroom and additional sink and mini refrigerator. Ocean View and Pool View. Located behind the yoga shala. This was the first cabana constructed on our property and you will be more than satisfied with the design and space

Cabana Nalini नलिनी means “lotus”

• Private Cabana sleeps 2 people. Primarily Jungle View & Partial Ocean View. This cabana is very secluded and was the second cabana built and due to the location, like a lotus, it produces the most beautiful flower, in the most extreme of environments

Bamboo Ocean View Duplex

Overlooking the pool we have two side by side lofted rooms that join together to make one large apartment for a group of 4 friends. This space encourages human connection. They are a little less private than Cabanas Santosha & Nalini. Each room has a king bed and sofa day bed with private bathroom. Enjoy a bamboo hammock balcony under a start lit canopy as the sound of the ocean rocks you to sleep. If you are not arriving with a group that is okay, you will get to know your neighbor in these side by side rooms. If you prefer privacy we recommend the private cabanas.

Shakti Room स्हक्ति means “power” and from here you can see and hear the power of the ocean

We have a restaurant and bar onsite with specific hours of operations. Outside food and beverages is prohibited. All rooms promote cool water showers. All rooms have fans and no AC.  Please bring your own toiletries/shampoo and a stainless steel water bottle to help reduce plastic waste. Body soap, linens and pool towels are provided. Check in between 3-6 pm. No late check-ins permitted after 6:00pm. We are not a late night place. Guests must be in cabanas at 8pm when staff leaves. We are small operation thank you for understanding our small business needs. Meal times cannot be changed without management approval in advance. Purified water will be charged.

The Guru Room

We have One cozy private sleeping room that we offer to retreat leaders or close friends. Or a special guest that wants to offer a workshop or class. Got some gifts you want to share with the world? Let’s collaborate. This room shares the bathroom with the pool bar. This room is simple yet elegant and is not ideal for a long stay but since you will be so busy out in nature, all you need is a comfy bed to lay your head at night. One queen bed. Located just steps from the pool with a jungle view.

  • If you are a yoga teacher from outside of Nicaragua and want to teach yoga to clients of our hotel, please first ask hotel managements permission. Due to liability the the teacher will be charged $10 USD per person that goes towards insurance, cleaning and maintaining the space and equipment. Thank you for your cooperation.

  Shanti Room शान्त is our peaceful massage treatment room

  When you chant, “Om shanti shanti shanti,” it's an invocation of peace.

• We can turn this room into a rental but we currently use it as a massage treatment room. It has a single bed. Ask for pricing. Available for group bookings.

Casa OM ॐ is the sound the universe made when it was created

• Sleeps 2 - 3 people. Overlooking the entire Sanctuary, we have one fully furnished lofted studio ideal for couples or close friends that require a kitchen for longer stays. Tastefully decorated with bamboo accents. Queen lofted bed with ocean view. Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, rain shower bathroom. Air Conditioning. Balcony with ocean view allows you to take it all in day and night. The original architect plan was to make a larger cabana but we ended up changing the roof design to create a more home like vibe.

Santosha Surf Sanctuary & Wellness is a boutique bed & breakfast in Southern Nicaragua. You do not need to be a surfer or yogi to stay here, our cabanas are ideal for couples, surfers, nature lovers and people who have an adventurous soul but seek a high level of comfort in an intimate tastefully decorated setting. We do no supply shampoo or conditioner for sustainable reasons. Please bring a stainless steel water bottle that we can fill for you with purified water for an additional charge.
