We are not a yoga retreat center, although we can host your retreat, our main focus at Santosha is connecting you with the nature that surrounds the Sanctuary and the holistic culinary experience that has been cultivated with each tiny detail with health & wellness in mind. We require 8 students minimum to use our space exclusively for your group without allowing outside patrons. This will be an intimate experience for your group only. We have one complimentary room for one teacher with 8 students. Meals are not included. We offer 4 private cabanas with private bathrooms, each cabana has a king bed and single bed. We can assist you by creating a daily activities itinerary with wonderful experience that will focus on the type of retreat you desire. We have a private boat, surf instructors, and massage therapists. Nature tours, community volunteer components such as a turtle nursery visit, beach clean up and a donation aspect if you wish to enhance your retreat. Sleeps 8 people in separate beds plus one teacher. Our main yoga deck can accommodate 8 comfortably and it perfect for yoga, meditation and sound baths. If a higher ceiling or more space is required we can use the lower deck that is usually our dining area.

Our retreat menu offers holistic cuisine. We grow many of our main ingredients on the property and source dark greens from a nearby farm. All of the seafood has been hand caught from our boat. We also offer vegan and vegetarian options. We use fresh coconut milk that we make each day in the rice and other dishes. Our theme is Nicaraguan Modern with a Thai Fusion.

PAYMENT POLICY

Full balance on rooms due immediately to secure the reservation. Payment plan may be arranged.

RETREAT CANCELLATIONS

It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation.

Naturally, no one books with the intention of cancelling or postponing their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please purchase travel cancellation insurance once you have made your group’s reservation.

DEFINITIONS

“Cancellation” is defined as not attending your scheduled Retreat Date, including postponing or rescheduling.

“You” refers to the teacher booking the group Retreat.

“We” refers to Santosha Surf Sanctuary & Wellness.

TRAVEL AND CANCELLATION INSURANCE

Please be sure that your insurance policy covers you for all relevant SPORT ACTIVITIES you will be engaging upon on your retreat & TRIP CANCELLATION.

Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees.. With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.

GUEST CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel your reservation or a group retreat, we do not offer a refund. A portion of your payment may be used as credit for another stay or group retreat date to be taken within 2 months of your original date.

Depending on when you cancel, cancellation penalties may apply.

Fees are determined by the following schedule:

  • If you cancel more than 90 days before your arrival start 100% of your payment may be applied to another date within 2 months excluding holiday dates.

  • If you cancel 60 days before your date, 50% of your payment may be applied to another within 2 months

  • If you cancel 30 - 45 days before your arrival you will forfeit your entire payment.

Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason. We do not offer credit for a guest arriving late or leaving early. Guests arriving prior to arrival or extending their stay will have to pay the advertised rates for meals, accommodation, services and activities.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If Santosha must cancel a reservation or booked retreat date for any reason, you may transfer your full retreat payment to another date within 2 months, or you may request a full refund of your payment. Weather emergencies do not count as a cancelation as we cannot control nature.

We are not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.
